District Dictionary Project

As part of an Annual District-Wide Project, The Rotary Club of Foothill-Highlands adopted three schools in its service area and purchased dictionaries for their third-grade students. On Friday, January 13th, 53 "lucky" students at Creative Connections Arts Academy received their allocation. Pictured are President Dominic Mecklenburg, PP Bob Meyer and several students. President Dominic asked the students to make a promise to "learn one new word every day." From the smiles on their faces, they are enjoying their new dictionaries. Two additional schools will be visited within the next few weeks.
